Barcode verified
Barcode verified.Same product, same barcode, checked.
The words mean one thing: the product the shopper asked for, the product the merchant offered and the product on the verified record are the same barcode, checked under a published set of rules, with a receipt anyone can verify.
a wefetch standard · free to any conforming implementation
What it means
Who may use them: any AI, any retailer and any brand whose implementation passes the conformance suite. There is no fee for the words. The rules are at standard-barcodeverified.org; the receipt format and the keyring are at rco-barcodeverified.org.
Each country carries its own profile: who may say what about a product there, which rules the label is read against, what the shelf calls things. A country appears below when its profile is published.

Using the words
“Barcode verified” may appear in an AI's answer, on an order confirmation, or as a label on a product card.
Wherever it appears, it sits beside one sentence: “This product matched its barcode on the verified record for [country], under AI Product Match Verification [version], on [date] — check the receipt.” The receipt links to the issuer, and anyone can check it at the verifier.
